Just when you think Aussie manufacturing is dead and buried, along comes ECCO Safety Group with a huge investment and brand new building, warehouse and manufacturing facilities.

In many respects ECCO Safety Group is the name behind the names, of brand names such as ECCO, Code 3, Xray Vision, Britax and exclusive distributor of Cole Hersee. Their brands have a longstanding heritage of industry leading safety technology, offering a wide range of hazard warning products to global OEMs, emergency and automotive aftermarket customers in agricultural, utilities, construction, transportation, waste management and material handling applications just to name a few.

Nearly every time you see an ambulance, fire brigade or police vehicle, you are possibly looking at their products, but that’s not all.

As well as manufacturing products such as emergency lightbars and warning systems ESG are also the exclusive distributors of Cole Hersee. Cole Hersee are a leading manufacturer of electromechanical, electronic and digital switches and connectors, designing dependable products for a broad range of vehicles.

History ECCO Safety Group’s Australian history dates back for over three decades. It was through rapid growth due to a number of global acquisitions including Britax Automotive, Hazard Systems, Public Safety Equipment (PSE) that the new business unit, ECCO Safety Group was formed in January 2018.

New Centralised Operation The impressive new facility located in Melbourne’s rapidly growing west, Truganina, has been designed from the ground up. The new headquarters will provide the capacity to further support their customers’ fast-moving, dynamic and diverse requirements through; • In-house Testing and Maintenance • Product Development and Training • Local Design and Engineering • Manufacturing and Assembly • Warehousing and Distribution
